Feature UI Upgrade

Business’s Problem

As part of the UI upgrade we are integrating more of scales to showcase it’s benefits to the company. This will help us remove old code and ensure that there is consistency across the product. Clean as we go philosophy, First touchpoint sets the tone , High friction in pivotal stage of the workflow, Prioritise majority scenario (happy path)

User’s Problem

This form is the first touchpoint in a recruiters' workflow.
Our research has uncovered problems in database accuracy and workflow efficiency which we believe can be resolved or mitigated by making the form more tailored to our user’s needs.

Through user research we’ve found…

• We cannot create jobs from the Job section

• there is only one /mandatory filed but a big number of optional fields

• The categorisation of fields makes complicated for users to understand the form

• The space between fields and the number of fields increase the cognitive load and difficult its completion

• Hard to see which fields are pre-selected and which ones has to be filled in before to proceed

• The current UI is outdated

• The Custom fields (requested through support) can increase the cognitive Load and they will probably be mandatory fields in most of the cases

• Due to the complexity of the form, users rarely complete the form (only mandatory fields)

• Hard to see mandatory fields without getting an error message
